31st Annual Jack Williamson Lectureship with the theme, “From Metal Man to Stonehenge Gate: 79 Years of Science Fiction.†Luncheon starts at 11:45 am and costs $8.00 (reservations needed by April 23) in the ENMU Campus Union Ballroom. Informal panel discussions start at 2:00 pm in Golden Library.

Your favorite authors will engage in a lively panel discussion about writing Science Fiction & Fantasy. Then, there will be a booksigning. B&N will have books available for signing. Jane hopes to have copies of her newest Firekeeper novel, Wolf’s Blood. And, rumor has it, there will be cookies….

Time, once again, for the Traditional ASFS/Bubonicon Auction, hosted by Robert Vardeman, local author and low-budget movie actor! Bob will share anecdotes as he auctions off various doodads and mysterious items. Bidding will be in 50-cent increments up to $6.00, then in whole dollars. Please bring 2-6 items (sci-fi or otherwise) to donate to the cause. Guests & snacks are, as always, welcome. The next issue of ASFacts also will be on hand (deadline Sat, April 7).
