The Program Schedule for Bubonicon 56 is HERE  (as of Aug 24, 2025).  Read all about the various workshops, tours, screenings and panel discussions we’ll have available throughout the weekend! All programming subject to change due to participant changes, etc.

GENERAL HOURS

Here are the general hours of Programming for each day (tentatively) —
Friday, August 22 — 3:30pm-midnight
Saturday, August 23 — 10:00am-midnight
Sunday, August 24 — 10:00am-5:00pm

The 2025 Program Schedule Highlights

• Science Talk from Dr. J.L. Doty 6:30pm Friday.
• ABQ Browncoats have their charity screening of “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-A-Long Blog” 8:00pm Friday.
• Charity Auction (at least the first $500 raised) 9:15pm Friday.
• Children’s Program: Crafts & Such 1:15-2:45pm Saturday.
• Artist Guest John Sumrow’s art slide show 3:05pm Saturday.
• Mass Autographing Session 4:35-5:45pm Saturday.
• Costume Contest at 7:15pm on Saturday.
• Delilah S. Dawson & Joe Haldeman GoH Presentation 11:00am Sunday.

• Fun & Con Auction starts at 1:00pm Sunday.
• Last panel of the weekend starts at 3:30pm Sunday.

Special 2025 Art Show Events

• Former Guest Artist Peri Charlifu gives a Docent Tour of the Art Show 11:00am-Noon Saturday.
• Former Guest Artist Chaz Kemp gives a Docent Tour 2:00-3:00pm Saturday.
• John “JP” Patrick presents his “Original Custom Sci-Fi LED-lighted Miniatures Display” 4:00-4:50pm Saturday.

AUCTIONS

Have something nifty or cool that you’ll be donating to the 2025 Friday Charity Auction?  We’re more than happy to publicize your unique contribution now.  Just send an email to the Con Chair with details.

We do want to note that at least the first $500.00 raised in the Friday Auction will go to charities.  How much more we can donate depends on how the convention does overall…

We will be accepting Auction donations 3:00-7:30 pm Friday, Aug 22, at the Panelist Check-In/Gofer Tables in the foyer of the Marriott. Friday’s Charity Auction should start approximately 9:15pm, and Sunday’s Con Auction should start at 1:00pm.

Some promised auction items include:

• Signed books from Martha Wells, James S.A. Corey, George RR Martin, Connie Willis, Catherine Asaro, Mary Robinette Kowal, Daniel Abraham, and more.
