It’s a Big Comic Book Celebration!

Yes, Saturday, May 3, sees a celebration of the annual fannish event, Free Comic Book Day. Several stores throughout Albuquerque will be handing out free comic books and/or offering discounts on various comics, graphic novels, action figures and other materials.

For instance, we know that Astro-Zombies starts their festivities at 11:00 am, including a Sidewalk Sale. Last year they gave out approximately 10,000 free comics.  And over at Don’s Paperback Books, the back warehouse will be open along with markdowns of select merchandise.

Be sure to check out the action at these known participants – Astro-Zombies, Lobo Anime & Comics, Don’s Paperback Books, Comic Warehouse, Kaboom Test Labs, Old West Comics, and Hasting’s.
