7000 BC MEETING AUGUST 9

7000 BC (independent comics from New Mexico) is meeting 1:00-4:00 pm Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Slice of Life Anime & Manga on Montgomery Blvd NE (at Juan Tabo)

Attendees will be getting together 1:00-4:00 pm at Slice of Life Anime and Manga at 11200 Montgomery Boulevard NE Suite 6.

The club will use this time to get started on the big rats drawing for Bubonicon.  If you’re not available that day but want to work on the drawing, Pete will have the jam at Flying Star on Juan Tabo NE, Wednesday, August 20, 6:00–8:00 pm.

“What’s with the rat drawing,” you ask?  In honor of Bubonicon mascot Perry (Rodent) the Rat, we collaborate on a big drawing of a rat for each year of Bubonicon and raffle it off, with proceeds going to charity.  The winner of the raffle gets drawn as a rat in the center.  So this year, we need to fill it up with 55 rats before the event ends.
